CATARINA VIEWPOINT AND POTTERY VILLAGE TOUR

Your tour begins in San Juan del Oriente, at the rustic studio of a Master Potter, whose authentic and beautiful craftsmanship is internationally recognized.  Craftsmen demonstrate how they continue the ancient traditions involved in creating and decorating pottery in the same manner as their Meso-American ancestors.

Next, visit neighboring Catarina; a windswept and picturesque hilltop town, known for its colorful flower gardens & spectacular views.  Great spot for photo ops or strolling through the small craft shops.

Stop for a typical Nicaraguan lunch in a breezy local restaurant on the way to the city of Masaya, (refreshments and lunch are not included in the price of this tour).

Tour Duration: 4 hours

Departs at:  9:00 AM until 2:00 PM.  Lunch away.  (Please note that the cost of food and drinks are not included in the price of any of our excursions).

Tour includes:  Transportation from Hacienda Puerta del Cielo to the pottery village of S. J. Oriente and then to the “Mirador” of Catarina, as well as, entry fees.  This is a guided tour.
